TS&LC Juniors Shine at the British Championships

Last week, three of Truro’s finest juniors—Callum Oliver (U19), Lewis Vinten (U17), and James Hogg (U15)—competed in Yorkshire at the British National Championships, delivering exceptional performances.

•Callum Oliver closed out his junior career with a National ranking of 16 in the U19 category. A dedicated player, Callum captained his school team, helped Truro School win a National title in 2022, and represented the county team at every junior age group.

•Lewis Vinten, our current club champion, placed 11th in the U17 division and is rapidly climbing the National rankings. Known for his speed and dedication, Lewis is on track to break into the National top 10 in the near future.

•James Hogg, only 14, continues to impress with his rapid development. Currently ranked in the National top 30, James combines power and skill, playing as No. 1 for his school team and competing in the men’s county leagues.

These fantastic results, along with the achievements of Myles Roberts, who plays for both the TR1 and TRJ teams, highlight the incredible future of junior squash at Truro. The next generation of talent is truly one to watch!
