Just over a month ago, TS&LC hosted a spectacular “Battle of the Brits” event this past weekend, treating a sell-out crowd to an unforgettable evening of world-class squash. Featuring top professionals Alicia Mead, Katie Malliff, George Parker, and Declan James, the evening proved to be an early Christmas treat for everyone in attendance.

The day began with masterclasses delivered by the pros, inspiring our girls, ladies, and schoolboys with their skills and expertise. The evening matches were the highlight, with two thrilling five-set encounters that kept the audience captivated from start to finish. Katie Malliff and Dec James emerged as narrow winners, but the true triumph lay in the incredible quality of squash and the inspiration provided to our club members.

Over the years, Truro Squash Club has been privileged to host some of the sport’s top professionals, and this event ranks among the very best. A huge thank you to Alicia, Katie, George, and Declan for delivering such a memorable experience.
